Record-Breaking GatorBar Shift on a Single Production Line

Record-Breaking GatorBar Shift on a Single Production Line

An ad-hoc OT team pushed GatorBar production past 200,000 feet of #3 rebar on one line in a single 11-hour shift. That’s a half a truckload of fiberglass rebar in 11 hours. The line was turning out a full skid—1,250 twenty-foot sticks every 90 minutes.

Reaching those numbers on an extra shift required tight coordination, zero wasted motion, and equipment capable of running at high speeds while maintaining product specifications. The combination of teamwork, process control, and manufacturing efficiency resulted in an all-time GatorBar production record.

The Team Behind the Record: Josh, Jordan, Matt, Chad, Dakota, Alex

This record-setting shift didn’t happen by accident. It happened because six team members volunteered to come in on an extra shift and deliver results.

Jordan, Chad, Dakota, and Alex with support from Matt and Josh kept the line moving at an average process speed of 304 feet per minute while staying focused on safety and quality control throughout the shift.

From loading glass and monitoring resin flow to handling hot product and staging more than eight skids of finished material, each team member owned a critical part of the process. When adjustments were needed, they responded quickly and got the line back to peak throughput.

Their effort turned an overtime shift into the highest single-line GatorBar output ever recorded, ensuring valued distributor Weyerhaeuser received their order on time!

How GatorBar Manufacturing Technology Makes Days Like This Possible

Behind the scenes, GatorBar’s fiberglass rebar line is built for consistency as much as speed.

Precise fiber feeding, resin control, and curing temperatures kept the #3 GatorBar within specification even while operating at average process speeds of 304 feet per minute. High uptime, efficient cleanouts, and streamlined material handling allowed raw materials to move through production with minimal interruption.

Because the process is designed for repeatability, operators can focus on monitoring raw material inputs and quality rather than constantly adjusting equipment. That’s how GatorBar can produce more than 200,000 feet in a single shift while still delivering rebar that meets ICC standards for strength, durability, and surface finish without cutting corners to hit production goals.

What This Record Means for GatorBar Customers and Partners

For contractors and distributors, this shift represents more than a GatorBar milestone it demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver when demand spikes.

Producing more than 200,000 feet — nearly 40 miles — of #3 GatorBar in 11 hours means the GatorBar team can support large, time-sensitive projects without sacrificing reliability or quality.

With the capability to produce nearly half a truckload of material in just over 11 hours on a single production line, contractors and distributors can plan larger pours, tighter schedules, and bigger projects with confidence.

When you recommend GatorBar to customers and specifiers, you can rest assured it’s backed by the technology and team to that will rise to the moment.
